Truck accident on Struma Motorway
A serious road accident occurred today on the Struma Motorway. A heavy goods vehicle fell into a ravine in the direction of the city of Pernik, confirmed Ventsislav Aleksov, spokesperson for the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Pernik, to BTA.
According to preliminary data, the truck hit and tore through the safety barrier, after which it went off the roadway.
The incident occurred in the afternoon, shortly after the second tunnel in the direction of Pernik. Emergency medical teams and the police have been dispatched to the scene.
