Students from across the country will enhance their financial literacy during World Money Week, which will take place from March 16th to 22nd. This year's initiative focuses on personal finance, informed choices, and building sustainable financial habits among young people, according to the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) on its website.

Within the campaign, schools will organize a variety of educational initiatives - open lessons, meetings with experts, discussions, practical simulations, and interactive activities, aimed at improving students' financial literacy.

The initiative "World Money Week" is organized by the International Network on Financial Education of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and is implemented in over 170 countries worldwide.

The aim of the initiative is to encourage young people to develop skills for wise money management, future planning, and making informed financial decisions from an early age, the MES explains.

The coordinator of the events in our country is "Junior Achievement Bulgaria".
