Relics arrived in Pomorie for the holiday
On the eve of the brightest spring holiday – St. George's Day, the city of Pomorie hosted an exceptional spiritual event. Residents and guests of the city gathered to welcome the relics of Saint George the Victorious.
The relic, which is kept in a Greek monastery near Mount Athos, was brought personally by Archimandrite Ignatius.
The solemn welcome began in the central part of the city, after which a pilgrimage procession headed to the St. George Monastery in Pomorie. Believers had the opportunity to venerate the sacred object, which is a symbol of faith and victory over evil.
