Meeting in Burgas on Water Issues with EU Experts

A meeting on "Water Mission" is upcoming in Burgas with the participation of scientists and experts from the EU. Ecological policies, aquaculture, and the management of aquatic ecosystems will be discussed. The event is on October 23rd.

A meeting dedicated to water-related topics will be held in Burgas, with the participation of leading scientists and experts from the European Union. The event, named "Mission Water", will take place on October 23rd in the "Medical Sciences" building of Burgas Free University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov", the educational institution informs.

The forum is organized by the European Commission within the framework of the mission "Restoring our oceans and waters". Among the participants will be prominent names from the scientific world, including Ivelina Vasileva and Prof. Dr. Ana Gavrilovich. The meeting will also be attended by Prof. DSc Maya Stoyneva and Assoc. Dr. Blagoy Uzunov, representing Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Representatives of the University of Zagreb will also participate.

Experts are expected to discuss current environmental policies and share their scientific achievements in the fields of aquaculture, fisheries and sustainable management of aquatic ecosystems.

The event provides a unique opportunity for students, young scientists and lecturers from Burgas Free University to get acquainted with the priorities of the European Union in the field of "blue" science and the challenges it faces.

The university is actively working to promote the goals of the mission through a number of scientific and educational initiatives.
