Dialogue between Bulgaria and the USA on strategic partnership
Today, a key meeting was held at the Council of Ministers building between the Bulgarian government and Arthur Miller, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
The focus of the discussions was on addressing the challenges to security and socio-economic stability in the region.
Main topics of the discussion included:
- The strategic partnership between the two countries.
- The consequences of military actions in Ukraine and the Middle East.
- Joint approaches to overcoming geopolitical crises.
The visa issue remains a priority
During the meeting, the recent telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump was recalled. The Bulgarian side firmly insists on the lifting of visas for Bulgarian citizens and expects the issue to be considered as soon as possible.
