The Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (EAF&A) conducted surprise inspections of 27 amateur fishermen on Lake Aheloy. Fortunately, no violations were found, but the agency warns – controls will be intensified throughout the summer period, and around the clock.
The inspections are part of the ongoing control over recreational fishing. EAF&A thanks the fishermen who comply with the rules, but reminds: observe the regulatory requirements! If you suspect a violation, immediately call 112.
Furthermore – Burgas Regional Administration has restored its management over Lake Aheloy after a long-standing problem with illegal use. This action is unprecedented in the country and demonstrates the seriousness of the measures.
