A Russian FPV drone hit Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region on Sunday morning, 8 November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. Rescuers in the village have spent seven days clearing the ruins of a shelter hit by guided aerial bombs.
Russia carried out a series of air strikes on Komyshuvakha on 2 November. The State Emergency Service reported 26 dead at the time, but Zelensky now says the death toll is 55. More people may still be under the rubble.

"Absolute cynicism and cruelty," the president wrote about the new attack.
Overnight, Russian strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region left more than 600,000 people without power. In Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions, 140 high-rise apartment blocks have no heating after shelling.
This week alone, Russia hit Ukrainian regions with 115 missiles of various types, including ballistic ones, nearly 1,900 guided aerial bombs and more than 3,000 attack drones, Zelensky said.
