Ukraine's National Police have released body camera footage of an officer killed in a second Russian strike on a school in Komyshuvakha, in the Zaporizhzhia region. The death toll has risen to 37, including two rescuers and four police officers.

Russia carried out a series of air strikes on the village on 2 November. The State Emergency Service first reported 26 dead.

The footage shows Komyshuvakha community representatives, residents, police officers and emergency service workers trying to take cover from Russian guided bombs. All had come to help the victims of the first strike.

"A three-tonne guided bomb and several more follow-up hits cut short the lives of dozens of people and buried them under the rubble," police said.

Every week, the school handed out humanitarian aid to people who had stayed in the village.

The National Police said "the Russians are again openly lying that they hit a place where Ukrainian troops are stationed". President Volodymyr Zelensky said most of the victims were civilians who had come for aid, along with people who were helping them after the first strike.
