Rotating presidency of the National Assembly introduced by the governing parties, announced Kostadin Angelov
Sofia – The governing parties announced the introduction of a rotating presidency of the National Assembly. This became clear from a statement by the chairman of the Council for Joint Governance (CJG), Kostadin Angelov, at a briefing in Parliament after today's meeting of the Council.
According to Angelov, the decision for the rotating principle of presidency will be officially recorded as an annex to the agreement for joint governance. "We decided to introduce a rotating presidency of the National Assembly, tomorrow this will be written as an annex to the agreement for joint governance," Angelov told journalists.
In addition, issues related to the salaries of young doctors were also discussed at the CJG meeting. At the same time, Angelov expressed the opinion of the governing parties that the convening of today's extraordinary session of the National Assembly is considered unnecessary. "We consider today's extraordinary session of the National Assembly unnecessary, because the decisions we have made will be formalized in the budget laws," he added.
Despite this position, Angelov's answer to a question reflects a willingness to participate in the plenary session. He confirmed that they will register at the beginning of the plenary session scheduled for today.
