Repairs on the “Trakia” Motorway: Full information on restrictions from June 8 to 19

Repair works and temporary traffic organization on the "Trakia" motorway

From June 8 (Monday) to June 11 (Thursday), the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) is starting repair works on the "Trakia" motorway. The restrictions will affect traffic in one lane in the section from the 60th to the 89th km.

Construction and installation works will be carried out during the night hours from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure the safety of travelers.

Alternative routes for drivers

During the night repairs, the movement of all vehicles will be diverted along road I-8 through the following settlements:

In the lane where no repair works are being carried out, traffic will proceed without restrictions.

Additional restrictions after June 11

After the end of the working day on June 11, a restriction will be introduced in the direction of Sofia (from the 55th to the 60th km), which will continue until June 19. During this period, vehicles will move in both directions in the lane for Burgas.

The repairs are assigned to "Avtomagistrali" EAD. The RIA appeals to drivers to drive with increased caution and to strictly follow the placed road signage to ensure safe passage through the sites.
