Over 300 children from the region participated in this year's edition of the regional competition for reciting a poem dedicated to the National Revival figures. The event, which commemorates the memory of prominent Bulgarian figures of education and culture, attracted public attention, demonstrating once again the interest of the young generation in national history and culture.

The competition, which is already establishing itself as a significant event in the region, is organized by the community center „Sts. Cyril and Methodius 1985“ in the city of Burgas. This is the third consecutive edition of the event, which underlines the sustainability and commitment of the community center to educational and cultural initiatives.

The participants in the competition were divided into two age categories in order to provide fair conditions for the expression of young talents. Children from kindergartens and students from grades 1 to 4 demonstrated their recitation skills, presenting poems that inspire and educate.

The choice of recited works reflects the organizers' desire to preserve and pass on to the younger generations the most valuable examples of Bulgarian poetry. "Day of the Enlighteners" by Angelina Zhekova, filled with patriotic feelings and enthusiasm, "Prayer" by Ivan Vazov, which affirms the values of faith and hope, and "I am a Bulgarian Child" - a symbol of Bulgarian identity, were among the most frequently chosen poems by the participants.

Expectations are high for the upcoming awards ceremony for the distinguished children. It is scheduled for November 5th. In the hall, the thrill of anticipation can be felt, and impatience can be read in the children's eyes.

The awards ceremony will take place in the emblematic hall „Georgi Baev“, which is located in the cultural center „Morsko Casino“. The start time of the event is 5:30 PM. A large number of attendees are expected to witness a moving ceremony that will mark the achievements of the young talents and affirm the importance of the holiday of the National Revival figures.
