After three exciting days filled with sportsmanship and maritime emotions, the "Chernomorets Burgas 2026" regatta has officially concluded. The event, organized by Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas", brought together the elite of the country's youth sailing.
Challenges on the water
Strong winds and changing conditions turned Saturday into a true test of the young competitors' skills, discipline, and concentration.
One of the most attractive moments was the special In-Port-Race for the A1 awards, which drew dozens of spectators near the Burgas Sea Station. For the first time, a special ranking was introduced for the youngest participants in the "Bambini" category.
Champions of the "Chernomorets Burgas 2026" Regatta
- Optimist Class (overall): 1. Andrey Garov (Yacht Club Port Burgas), 2. Todor Gochev (Yacht Club Pomorie), 3. Roman Konanov (Yacht Club Chernomorets Burgas).
- ILCA 6 Class: Alexandra Lukoyanova triumphed unequivocally, leaving the competition behind.
- 420 Class: The winners are Yura Veretelnik and Egor Veretelnik from Yacht Club Chernomorets Burgas.
The regatta once again proved that it is a key event for the development of Bulgarian sailing, providing a platform for the exchange of experience between clubs from all over the country.
