Brilliant start for the sailors from Burgas on Lake Ohrid
Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas" began its participation in the training camp and the international regatta "Struga 2026" on Lake Ohrid with an exceptionally strong performance. The club solidified its position as a leading force in sailing in the region.
"We showed confidence, consistency, and excellent preparation in all races," commented the club's staff.
Successes in the Optimist class
- Roman Kononov: First place in the general classification and among the boys.
- Adriana Bozhinova: Second place in the general classification and first among the girls.
- Lily Bozhinova: The team's sensation (born in 2018), who took third place among the girls and second place among girls under 12.
Results in the ILCA class
In competition with athletes from Serbia and North Macedonia, Semyon Emelyanov won a prestigious second place. Anna Konanova, for whom this is only her second competition in the ILCA 4 class, showed enormous potential, finishing fourth in the general classification.
Following the success in "Struga 2026", the team is preparing for the international regatta "Ohrid 2026", organized by the "Aquatica Yachting" Water Sports Club. This is further proof of the high level of preparation at Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas".
