"Informatsionno Obsluzhvane" AD will hold a public demonstration at 10:30 a.m. of the system for computer processing of voting data from the elections for the National Assembly on April 19, 2026. This was announced by the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The election commission also informed that later, at 2:30 p.m., they will provide an opportunity for a public review of the source code of the systems for the Regional Election Commissions (RECs) and the CEC, which will be used for computer processing.
The events will take place in the building of the National Assembly, 1 Knyaz Alexander I Square, hall No. 1. One authorized representative of the parties, coalitions, and initiative committees registered to participate in the elections, registered observers, and representatives of the media may attend.
On April 3, the Ministry of Electronic Governance (MEG) published the hash code that will be written on each ballot for the elections on April 19. Experts from the CEC performed the procedure of building the hash code in a controlled environment in the MEG building. The code is printed when the machine starts and on each ballot and can be compared, explained the caretaker Minister of Electronic Governance Georgi Sharkov. This is the guarantee that from the trusted construction today, through the installation and starting of the machines - the code is the same, Sharkov explained.
