In another episode of the podcast "Temple of Stories", Mariyan Stankov - Mon Deo welcomes one of the most provocative Bulgarian artists - Ivo Dimchev. The artist, known for his uncompromising honesty, shares details from his personal and professional world that rarely reach the public space.

Dimchev categorically states that his musical messages are far from commercial expectations. "My songs do not aim to become hits, but represent a poetic and sometimes vulgar dialogue with the audience," emphasizes the performer. He sees his mission in revealing topics that society prefers to remain silent about.

Especially provocative is his position regarding upcoming concerts in Moscow during a military conflict. Despite criticism that such performances may legitimize a certain political regime, Dimchev remains consistent in his artistic philosophy. "I do not have a direct political position, but I am against war," he shares.

An interesting moment in the conversation is his view of the LGBTQ community in Russia. According to him, the official state policy may seem hostile, but unofficially there is a significant liberal space. "LGBTQ people have enormous influence in the state," claims the provocative artist.

His personal story reveals the power of individuality. Dimchev recounts how from an early age he was bullied for his expressiveness and difference, but these experiences made him stronger and more confident. "I was bullied as a child because of my sexuality and extravagance, but I survived," he shares.

He defines homophobia as "true madness" and a "sign of childish consciousness". His message is clear - maturity is measured by tolerance and acceptance of difference. "I wish the critics would grow up before having any opinion about love," Ivo Dimchev is categorical.

The artist is not concerned about comments on social networks and remains true to himself. His music, behavior, and messages are an act of resistance against stereotypes and attempts to impose conformist models.
