Conditions on the Black Sea Coast
For all who plan to visit the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, the forecast is more than favorable. Temperatures there will range between 26° and 29°, with predominantly sunny weather. Only before noon will there be temporary increases in cloud cover over the southern coast, but they will not spoil the feeling of summer. The sea water maintains a comfortable temperature of 24° to 25°, ideal for swimming. The sea swell will remain moderate, between 2 and 3 on the Beaufort scale, which provides calm conditions for beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts. A moderate eastern wind will blow, bringing a pleasant coolness.
Mountain Idyll
The mountains also offer excellent conditions for tourism and recreation. The weather will be sunny, which will make mountain hikes even more pleasant. A light wind will blow, predominantly from the east, and in the higher parts, it will be oriented from the northwest. Temperatures in the mountain resorts will vary significantly. For example, in Aleko it will be 17 degrees, while in Bansko the thermometers will reach up to 26 degrees.
Weekend Forecast and Expected Change
The forecast for the end of the week foretells a continuation of the hot weather. On Friday and Saturday it will be sunny, and temperatures will continue to rise. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach their peak, with maximum values being between 32° and 37° degrees. However, on Saturday evening and during the night towards Sunday, a new atmospheric front will pass through the country, bringing a significant change with it.
This change will initially affect Western Bulgaria with rainfall and thunderstorms. On Sunday during the day, the precipitation will spread to many places throughout the country, and it is expected to be more intense in Central Bulgaria. With this front, the wind will orient from the northwest and will intensify, which will lead to a noticeable cooling. Temperatures in Central and Northern Bulgaria will fall below 30 degrees.
