A New Era for Music Education in Burgas
The National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" has officially opened its branch in Burgas. The Academic Council has entrusted Prof. Dr. Ivan Stoyanov, who was elected as its first director.

Who is Prof. Dr. Ivan Stoyanov?
The new director is well-known in musical circles as a virtuoso bass guitarist and a long-time educator. His professional path includes:
- Work in iconic ensembles such as the "Dynamite Brass Band," the Vili Kazasyan Big Band, and "Ku-Ku Band."
- Participation in over 2,000 television productions, large-scale tours, and concert projects.
- Authorship of specialized literature, including method books for four-string and five-string bass guitar.
At the new branch in Burgas, Prof. Stoyanov will continue to pass on his experience by leading instruction in his specialized subject, combo ensembles, and orchestra. His appointment is a guarantee of the high academic standard that the National Academy of Music will establish in the seaside city.
