Burgas region is taking important steps to improve its readiness to deal with disasters, fires, and emergencies. The project, funded by the “Human Resources Development” Programme, provides 450,000 euros to enhance security in the region.

- Equipment: New and functional equipment is being purchased for firefighters and volunteer formations. Pomorie Municipality receives 8619 euros for specialized equipment, including protective clothing, saws, pumps, and others.

- Information campaigns: Campaigns are being conducted to attract new volunteers and raise public awareness.
- International exchange: A practical exchange of international experience is planned.
