The state regains control over the Aheloy Dam
The District Governor of Burgas has issued an official order for the compulsory seizure of the Aheloy Dam. The decision follows the established unauthorized use of the site by a legal entity that did not have a legal basis for its activities.
The Aheloy Dam is public state property, and any actions without a legal basis are unacceptable.
At the moment, a large-scale operation is underway at the site, carried out by an interdepartmental commission. The teams are executing the orders in accordance with the powers granted to them to ensure the return of the site under state management.
Participating in the operation are:
- Police teams to ensure order;
- Employees of the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (EAFA);
- Representatives of the Regional Administration – Burgas.
