The samples of the paper and electronic ballots for the early parliamentary elections on April 19 will be presented to the Central Election Commission (CEC). The Deputy Chair and spokesperson of the CEC, Rositsa Mateva, will present the ballots during the regular weekly briefing dedicated to the vote, the Commission's press center announced.
24 formations will participate in the elections - 14 parties and 10 coalitions. The formations have registered candidate lists in all electoral districts. There is one independent candidate in Smolyan.
April will mark the eighth parliamentary vote since 2021. Regular parliamentary elections were held on April 4, 2021, followed by six early votes. The elections on April 19 will be the seventh early elections after the regular ones on April 4, 2021.
