CEC launches an awareness campaign for the 2026 presidential elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced the start of a "public competition" procedure to select a contractor for the production of information materials. The campaign is focused on the upcoming elections for President and Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, scheduled for October 25, 2026.

What does the public procurement include?

The goal of the campaign is to inform citizens about the voting process, the rights of voters with disabilities, and specifics such as voting at a current address.

Special materials for voters

The CEC places an emphasis on accessibility, with the procurement also including specialized information materials for people with disabilities. The video content will explain in detail the steps for voting, who is eligible to vote, and how the submitted ballots are counted.

We remind you that the date of October 25 was officially determined by the National Assembly and published in the "State Gazette" in July of this year.
