Municipal councilors from "Vazrazhdane" and "Middle European Class" submitted a proposal to reduce the price of a ticket for public transport in Burgas. The proposal is in connection with the findings of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) regarding an unjustified increase in the ticket price.
The current proposal aims to correct the price of a single journey ticket to 1.50 BGN or alternatively to 1.47 BGN, depending on the capabilities of the carrier "Burgasbus" EOOD.
The councilors emphasize that similar prices have already been introduced in Ruse, and in other cities there are reductions related to the introduction of the Euro.
The proposal is motivated by the need to protect the rights of passengers and a quick solution to the issue of the ticket price, given the uncertainty surrounding the deadlines and the outcome of the dispute with the NRA.
