The caretaker Council of Ministers has decided to provide for management, free of charge, properties – public state property to the State Agency for Refugees, the government press service announced.
The properties are located in Sredets, Burgas region, and in Simeonovo, Haskovo region. Their provision will secure land for the construction of closed-type centers for the accommodation of persons seeking international protection.
The Chairman of the State Agency for Refugees, Ivan Ivanov, announced that no more than 20% of the refugee centers were filled at the end of last year.
