The government discusses funding for youth centers, cultural projects and other important decisions

At a regular meeting, the Council of Ministers will consider a program for financing youth centers, as well as projects related to culture, religious holidays and nuclear regulation. Approval of lists of kindergartens and schools is expected, as well as a discussion on holding a Global Skills Summit in 2028.

The Council of Ministers will consider a number of important issues at a regular meeting. Among them is a program for financing youth centers in Bulgaria for the period 2026-2028.

The agenda also includes the national program "I choose to study in Bulgaria", as well as a draft decision to appoint the Ministry of Culture as the Managing Authority for conducting the competition for the selection of a Bulgarian city for "European Capital of Culture" in 2032.

The government is expected to determine the days for religious holidays of denominations other than Eastern Orthodox in 2026.

A draft decision is to be discussed to relieve and appoint a deputy chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency.

A List of protected kindergartens and protected schools for the 2025/2026 school year will be approved, as well as a List of central kindergartens and schools for the 2025/2026 school year.

The ministers will also consider holding the Global Skills Summit of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Bulgaria in 2028.
