Over the past 24 hours, fire departments extinguished 72 fires and responded to 89 calls for incidents, reports the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" on its website. The information is as of 6:00 a.m.
There were no fatalities or injuries in the fires.
15 fires occurred with direct material damage, of which four were in residential buildings, two in auxiliary, temporary structures, as well as three in vehicles.
57 fires occurred without material damage, of which 15 were in dry grass, forest litter and shrubs, one in stubble, 27 in waste, 11 in cooking appliances and chimneys.
15 rescue operations and support operations were carried out, including one in a traffic accident between vehicles.
Two false calls were registered.
