Two people were injured in fires over the past 24 hours in Bulgaria, according to data from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population".
Yesterday at noon, the Regional Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" - Varna was informed about a fire in the kitchen of an apartment. The incident was extinguished with two fire trucks. A 79-year-old man and a 65-year-old man were injured, having inhaled smoke from the products of combustion.
In total, the fire department units responded to 115 calls for incidents in the country, 88 fires were extinguished. Two false calls were received.
There were 12 fires with direct material damage, six of which were in residential buildings, three in vehicles, one in outdoor facilities, etc.
There were 76 fires without material damage, 24 of which were in dry grass, forest litter and shrubs, 37 in waste, 10 in cooking appliances and chimneys, and five others.
