Fires in Bulgaria: 46 extinguished in 24 hours, one injured

46 fires were extinguished in Bulgaria over the last 24 hours, with firefighters responding to 70 calls. One person was injured. A total of 20 rescue operations and assistance missions were carried out.

A total of 46 fires were extinguished in the country in the last 24 hours, according to the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (GDPSPC). Firefighters responded to 70 incident signals. One person was injured.

19 fires occurred with direct material damage, of which eight in residential buildings, two in auxiliary, temporary or makeshift buildings, five in vehicles, and others.

27 fires occurred without material damage, of which five in dry grass, forest litter and shrubs, 14 in waste, four in cooking appliances and chimneys, and others.

20 rescue operations and support operations were carried out, of which three in traffic accidents and 17 technical assistance. 

Four false calls were registered.
