The General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" reported a busy day marked by numerous fires and rescue operations.

Over the past 24 hours, teams have dealt with a total of 170 fires, responding to 202 incident reports.

The situation was dynamic and tense, with firefighters spread across various points in the country to deal with simultaneously occurring incidents.

The dramatic event left two injured people, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

Detailed Information

Detailed information published on the directorate_q_s website reveals a fuller picture of the events.

Of the total number of fires, 35 caused direct material damage, with 16 of them breaking out in residential buildings.

This is a worrying trend that highlights the need for increased attention to fire safety in homes.

The remaining 135 fires, although without material damage, were also serious incidents, with 94 of them involving dry grass, forest litter and bushes.

This is a seasonal phenomenon that intensifies during the summer months and requires a responsible civic stance.

Reckless actions can easily lead to uncontrolled fire spread and serious environmental damage.

Rescue Operations

In addition to extinguishing fires, firefighters also carried out 22 rescue and assistance operations.

Four of these operations were as a result of accidents, highlighting the multi-functional role of the teams and their readiness to respond to a wide range of emergencies.

Each of these rescue acts is a testament to the professionalism and dedication of Bulgarian firefighters.

False Calls

In addition to dealing with real incidents, the fire services also dealt with 10 false calls.

This is a waste of valuable time and resources that could have been used to deal with real dangers.

Such actions are not only irresponsible but can also have serious consequences in situations requiring a quick and effective response.
