A fire broke out in the Southern Industrial Zone in Burgas today, shortly after 13:00. The flames spread near a store selling building materials and household goods, creating an alarming atmosphere in the area.
According to information from the Burgas fire department, the fire engulfed plastic containers belonging to a waste management company, as well as accumulated waste and car tires. Direct contact of the flames with the store"s warehouse premises was prevented, but the thick black smoke spread over the industrial zone, visibly coloring the sky in a dense, alarming smog.
