A large fire engulfed the base of a waste collection company in Burgas today, shortly after 13:30.
The incident was reported to the fire department, confirmed the press center of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior.
The fire has engulfed a significant portion of the company"s stored tires and plastic containers, whose base is located in close proximity to "Zahari Stoyanov" boulevard.
The area is surrounded by thick smoke, visible from a considerable distance.
According to the information we have, three fire engines with a team of eight firefighters, as well as the chemical bus of the Regional Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection_q_ in Burgas, have responded to the scene.
Extinguishing actions are underway and they are currently fighting the spread of the flames.
