Hoteliers in Varna report an increase in tourists for Easter, mainly Bulgarians. There is a slight outflow of Romanian tourists due to the economic crisis. Despite the positive results, a difficult summer season is ahead due to the war and high prices.

More tourists visited hotels in Varna and the resorts near the city for Easter this year, according to hoteliers' data. More guests from the country were recorded, with an increase of about 15% in reservations. A slight decline in Romanian tourists is observed, likely due to economic reasons.

Most seasonal hotels were closed, as Easter fell far from the beginning of the tourist season. Primarily year-round hotels, which welcomed guests, operated in the resorts.

The upcoming summer season, however, seems challenging. Hoteliers warn of difficulties due to the war in the Middle East and high prices, which are causing tourists to postpone their plans. The need for good infrastructure is emphasized, such as repairing the road from Varna to the resorts.
