New horizons for tourism: Paris - Burgas
Burgas Airport marked an important moment at the start of the summer season by welcoming the first flight of the French low-cost carrier Transavia France on the Paris – Burgas route. This new air connection opens up the South Black Sea coast to French tourists, providing direct access to the resorts in the region.
The new line will serve passengers every Monday, which is a strategic step towards attracting more guests from France.
Expanded connectivity with Germany
In addition to the connection with the French capital, the airport is actively restoring and expanding its network with the German market. The airline Eurowings has already launched flights from Stuttgart, and by the end of the season, the inclusion of key routes from the following is expected:
- Hamburg
- Düsseldorf
- Cologne
Why is this important for the region?
According to the airport's management, the increased presence of airlines from Western and Central Europe will strengthen Burgas' position as a top destination. An increase in tourist flow, heightened interest in coastal landmarks, and greater momentum for the 2026 summer season are expected.
