Faster response in emergencies on the seaside
From August 1st, additional medical teams and ambulances will be deployed along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The initiative is the result of joint efforts by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health, aiming to ensure the peace of mind of thousands of vacationers.
"Caring for the health and safety of tourists is among our main priorities," the departments emphasize.
Why is this important for your stay?
- Speed: Response time for emergency calls is reduced during the peak of the summer season.
- Coverage: The additional teams support local health facilities along the Northern and Southern Black Sea coast.
- Security: Quality medical service is the foundation of a good tourist experience.
The project, launched back in 2023 by then-ministers Ilin Dimitrov and Dr. Asen Medzhidiev, has become a sustainable practice for the active summer season. Thus, the healthcare system in the resorts adapts to the significant influx of guests, providing timely assistance to anyone in need.
