Social Assistance provides aid to fire victims in Burgas

Reception offices of _Social Assistance_ in Burgas are providing aid to those affected by the major fire on Saturday. The Regional Directorate _Social Assistance_ in Burgas has deployed its teams to the town hall building, where they are accepting applications and providing consultations to people whose homes were affected by the fire. The victims will be informed about the types of assistance and support they can receive from the state to cope with the consequences of the disaster.

The temporary reception office's working hours are until 5:00 PM today. To submit applications for assistance, owners of the affected houses must present an identity document and a document proving ownership of the affected property. This measure is intended to facilitate the document processing procedure and ensure that assistance reaches the people who truly need it.

The large-scale fire broke out on August 16, causing serious material damage. The fire affected over 20 inhabited buildings in the _Loznitsite_ villa zone of the town of Bulgarovo. Currently, two separate commissions are working to assess the damage caused.

These inspections are key to determining the extent of the damage and for the subsequent allocation of financial aid to assist in the restoration of the destroyed properties. The disaster left many families homeless, and the authorities in the region are mobilizing efforts for a quick and effective response to help people overcome the difficult situation.
