The leader of the political formation "DPS-New Start" Delyan Peevski made a categorical call for the abolition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) through an official public statement on social media.
In his emotional address, the politician firmly stated that he will submit an official proposal to close the commission and will insist that the National Assembly vote on this in two consecutive readings next week.
Peevski described the vote as a "litmus test" that will reveal true political manipulations. "This is the only way to cut ties with discredited political circles who systematically use the institution for their own PR campaigns," he emphasized.
According to the politician, the commission serves only to "inflate the ratings" of certain political leaders. He pointed out that the KPK was specially created for Boyko Rashkov, led by Kiril Petkov, and controlled behind the scenes by Hristo Ivanov.
In sharp criticism, Peevski accused his opponents of systematic lying, emphasizing that they had publicly promised to propose the closure of the commission but have not done so.
"Rashkovs and Kiril Petkov's people have no place and should not have a place in Bulgarian politics," the leader of "DPS-New Start" firmly stated, making an ultimatum demand for the immediate dissolution of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
