Criticism of the Radev Cabinet's Governance Program
Ivaylo Mirchev from Democratic Bulgaria leveled sharp criticism at the presented governance program of the Radev cabinet. According to him, the document is overdue and contains mostly wishful phrases such as "we will analyze" and "we will develop," without offering a clear account of the final results.
We have a powdered-up document for which every ministry has contributed a piece. It contains 984 deadlines, without it being clear how citizens receive 984 measurable results, noted Mirchev.
Lack of fight against the "Peevski-Borisov" model
- Concrete measures against the oligarchic model are missing.
- A planned reform of the security services is missing.
- There is an observation of replacing old figures with new ones close to the presidency.
Mirchev emphasized that instead of real actions, one sees a management style where the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff plays a leading role, replacing the authority of the government itself.
The Cabinet's position
For its part, the government defended its program, describing it as a strategy for building a modern, social, and high-tech state for the period 2026-2030, covering 20 key areas for development.
