The main focus of the meeting was the preparation for the upcoming summer tourist season. Measures to ensure public order and the safety of tourists were discussed. Special attention was also paid to the possibilities of deploying foreign police officers, including representatives of the Polish police, in order to assist the work of local law enforcement agencies and improve communication with foreign guests.

Last summer, security in the resort towns of Primorsko and Kiten was strengthened with 22 additional deployed police officers, and in Sunny Beach – with 50, which later became 83. Among them were foreign police officers from Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Germany.
