“Tsonka Todorova” Charity Swimming Marathon 2026
On 05.07.2026, Burgas will once again host a large-scale charity initiative. For the tenth consecutive year, the “Cancer Patients and Friends” Association is organizing a swimming marathon in support of people fighting cancer.
This year's cause is providing a professional rehabilitator for daily post-operative care and lymphatic drainage for a period of one year.
Event schedule:
- 07:00 – Registration at “Sea Station” / “Magazia 1”;
- 08:00 – Departure by ship to St. Anastasia Island;
- 09:30 – Start of the swim (1.8 km to Cape Chukalyata, Rosenets beach);
- 10:30 – Award ceremony with the participation of Yoana Bukovska-Davidova;
- 11:30 – Organized free transport back to Burgas.
