Sport as Inclusion: A Successful Start to the Adapted Swimming Marathon in Nesebar

On the occasion of the Nesebar town holiday, the NSA "Vasil Levski" base hosted the first-of-its-kind "Marathon" in adapted swimming for children with special needs. The initiative was organized by the "Adapted Sports" Club – Nesebar, with the assistance of the NSA's Water Sports Department.

"I believe that this event marks the beginning of a new, inspiring tradition that unites physical activity, support, and the joy of movement," commented the Mayor of Nesebar Municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov.

Participants and Achievements

More than 25 children from Nesebar and across the country took part in the swimming challenge. Every child was awarded a certificate and a medal, presented by Assoc. Prof. Yordan Donev, Head of the Water Sports Department at the NSA.
