Road Traffic Accidents: Grim Statistics from the Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Interior reports on serious road traffic accidents that have claimed lives and injured dozens. The data reveals a worrying statistic regarding accidents in the country.

A tragic day on the road left a mark of pain and devastation, noted by the Ministry of Interior's announcements, published on their official website. The data for the past 24 hours paint a grim picture of road accidents that claimed lives and left dozens injured.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Interior, one person lost their life in the severe accidents in the last 24 hours. The number of injured reached 19 people, whose fate is now tied to the struggle for recovery. The total number of serious accidents with casualties for the same period is 17.

In the capital, Sofia, the situation is also not rosier. 35 minor accidents and one serious one were reported, which caused suffering to two people, but fortunately, without a fatal outcome.

The statistics for the current month paint an even more alarming picture. Since the beginning of the month, 303 accidents have been registered, which have claimed the lives of 24 people and left 375 injured.

Unfortunately, the worrying trends do not stop there. If we look at the data from the beginning of the year, we see a total of 5437 road accidents. These accidents have caused the deaths of 351 people and have led to the injury of 6785. The number of victims and injured serves as a grim reminder of the fragility of human life and the need for constant attention and caution on the road.
