Clear weather is expected overnight, with temporary increases in cloud cover. On April 9, 2026, the cloud cover over the country will be variable, with rain in many places, and in the northern and mountainous areas the rain will mix and temporarily turn into snow.
RESTRICTIONS FOR HEAVY GOODS VEHICLES:
In connection with the expected heavy traffic for the holidays, temporary restrictions are introduced for heavy goods vehicles over 12 tons on A1 “Trakia”, A2 “Hemus”, A3 “Struma” and road I-1. The restrictions apply to certain days and hours, with exceptions for certain types of vehicles.

- April 10 /Friday/: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Restriction for those leaving Sofia
- April 13 /Monday/: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. - Restriction for those entering Sofia
Attention: The restrictions do not apply to certain vehicles (public transport of passengers, ADR, animals, perishable goods and garbage trucks).
