Severe road statistics
Over the past 24 hours, the country woke up to more grim statistics – two people have died and 28 were injured in severe traffic accidents, the Ministry of Interior press office reported.
The situation in Sofia
In the capital, traffic intensity led to the registration of 17 minor road accidents and one severe one. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in Sofia, with only one person reported injured.
Data shows that since the beginning of the month, a total of 160 accidents have occurred in the country, claiming seven lives and leaving 216 people injured.
Increase in fatalities compared to the previous year
- Number of deaths during the same period in 2025: 156 people
- Increase for the current period: 21 more deaths
