A New Beginning for Bulgaria: Rumen Radev Presents the Proposed Cabinet Composition
Following political consultations, Vice President Iliana Iotova officially presented the first exploratory mandate to the largest political force in the 52nd Parliament – "Progressive Bulgaria". Prime Ministerial candidate Rumen Radev presented the structure of the future government.
"The expectations of Bulgarian citizens are linked to stable and effective governance after years of political crises," emphasized Iliana Iotova.
Structure of the Proposed Cabinet
The government includes a Prime Minister, four Deputy Prime Ministers, and 18 line ministers. Here are some of the key names:
- Prime Minister: Rumen Radev
- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance: Galab Donev
- Economy and Investments: Alexander Pulev
- Interior: Ivan Demerdzhiev
- Defense: Dimitar Stoyanov
Priorities for the New Government
The new administration faces urgent tasks, including the drafting of the state budget until 2027, energy security, and stabilizing the economy. Iliana Iotova expressed confidence that the cabinet would succeed in restoring citizens' trust in institutions.
It is expected that tomorrow the Parliament will vote on the composition of the 107th Bulgarian government, which is to take the oath of office and assume governance of the country.
