New management vision for Bulgaria 2026-2030
The government officially adopted the Management Program of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2026-2030. The main goal is to build a modern, social, and high-tech European state.
The program is based on the restoration of statehood, the rule of law, and trust in institutions.
Key priorities of the cabinet
- Accelerated modernization: Striving to reach the living standards of developed European countries.
- Fight against corruption: Consistent dismantling of oligarchic models and ensuring transparency in the distribution of public resources.
- Economic stability: Focus on innovation, knowledge, and responsible management of national resources.
Institutional reforms
Deputy Prime Minister Galab Donev emphasized that the government is working in sync with the National Assembly on the legislative program. The short-term focus falls on:
- Adopting amendments to the Civil Servant Act.
- Fulfilling the requirements of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan in order to secure payments to the country.
The program includes 20 key areas, each containing specific measures and measurable results to ensure sustainable and transparent management.
