The government has implemented large-scale personnel changes in regional administrations
The Council of Ministers adopted a decision to appoint 28 new regional governors, thereby relieving those previously holding these positions. The changes cover all regions in Bulgaria, and the new appointments include experts with experience in security, law, finance, and local governance.
The new regional governors have been selected based on their administrative and professional experience, with the aim of ensuring stability and efficiency in the work of the state administration at the local level.

- Blagoevgrad: Vasil Trendafilov (former head of the Sandanski District Police Department)
- Burgas: Diko Dikov (lawyer with many years of experience in the Ministry of Interior)
- Varna: Mario Smarkov (lawyer and former Member of Parliament)
- Veliko Tarnovo: Marin Bogomilov (economist)
- Vidin: Ognyan Mihaylov (expert with experience in the Ministry of Interior and the State Reserve)
- Vratsa: Rosen Mihaylov (financial analyst)
- Gabrovo: Kristina Sidorova (former Member of Parliament)
- Dobrich: Ruslan Tomov (lawyer with a long career in the Ministry of Interior)
- Kardzhali: Biser Nikolov (economist and lawyer)
- Kyustendil: Atanas Gerginov (financier with experience in the banking sector)
- Lovech: Plamen Hristov (journalist and media expert)
- Montana: Ivan Kamenov (financier with experience in the National Revenue Agency and the National Social Security Institute)
- Yambol: Georgi Chalakov (economist)
- Pazardzhik: Borislav Bogoslovov (engineer in the construction sector)
- Pernik: Greta Koleva (pedagogue)
- Pleven: Ivan Petkov (expert from the justice system)
- Plovdiv: Georgi Yanev (national security expert)
- Silistra: Nikolay Nedelchev (expert with experience in local government)
- Sliven: Mihail Kasherov (manager in international trade)
- Sofia (City): Yovelina Tihova (administrative expert)
- Sofia Province: Sofia Torolova (management expert)

- Haskovo: Todor Ivanov (lawyer)
