OIC-Varna at an event on circular economy: Support for businesses and new opportunities

OIC-Varna participated in a national event, presenting opportunities for financing and supporting businesses in the textile and fashion sectors. Dr. Viktoria Nikolova informed attendees about application procedures for the programs "Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises" and "Horizon Europe".

The Regional Information Center - Varna participated with a presentation on the topic "RIC-Varna - 15 years in support of business" in the national event "Circular Economy in the Textile and Fashion Sector: Solutions, Partnerships and Practical Steps for Business". It was held within the framework of the TEX-DAN project, financed by the Interreg "Danube Region" 2021-2027 program, the RIC-Varna announced to BTA.

During the meeting, the manager of RIC-Varna, Dr. Victoria Nikolova, introduced the attendees to the conditions for applying for the procedure "New models in production by SMEs" under the "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" Program 2021-2027. It allows companies to upgrade their activities by acquiring machines, equipment and software, patents, utility models, industrial designs and licenses.

Implementing a project under the same program, the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria supports companies with financial support for consulting services for registration of a trademark, industrial design, utility model, for issuing a patent for an invention, as well as for expenses for state fees for patents, trademarks and designs, utility models, explained Dr. Nikolova.

She also presented opportunities under the European Innovation Council Transition Program and the "Expanding and improving the value chain" Call under CIRCULOOS, funded under the "Horizon Europe" program.
