There will be traffic restrictions on the "Struma" motorway, and short-term repairs are planned on the "Trakia" motorway, announced the Road Infrastructure Agency (API). These changes in traffic organization are scheduled for specific dates in October.

On the "Struma" motorway, in the tunnel tube for Blagoevgrad of the "Kocherinovo" tunnel, passage will be restricted. This change comes into effect on October 30th and will last from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Traffic will be bidirectional in the tube for Sofia. The reason for this is the construction of a transmitter station of a mobile operator in the area of the facility. API reminds drivers of the need for increased caution, compliance with road signs and the speed limit of 50 km/h.

At the same time, on October 30th and 31st, short-term repairs are planned in the regions of Pazardzhik and Burgas, which will lead to changes in traffic organization.

On October 30th, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, repairs will be carried out in the lane for Sofia on the "Trakia" motorway in the Pazardzhik region. The repair works will affect sections at the 85th and 86th kilometer. Traffic will be restricted in the active and emergency lanes, and traffic will pass through the overtaking lane. At the same time, in the section from the 103rd to the 104th kilometer, guardrails will be replaced in the middle divider. For this purpose, there will be a phased restriction of traffic in the overtaking lanes in the direction of Burgas and Sofia, and vehicles will be directed to the free lanes.

On October 31st, again between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, the pavement in the lane for Sofia will be repaired in the section from the 83rd to the 85th kilometer. Here, too, there will be restrictions in the active and emergency lanes, and traffic will be redirected to the overtaking lane.

In the Burgas region, on October 30th and 31st, repair works are also planned.

Until October 30th, the repair of the pavement in the lane for Sofia will continue in the section from the 351st to the 353rd kilometer of "Trakia". The construction and installation works on the 2-kilometer route in the region began on October 20th, and traffic is currently restricted in the active lane in the area of the "Bulgarovo" road junction. Traffic is redirected to the overtaking lane.

On October 31st, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, short-term repairs will be carried out in a 350-meter section at the 335th kilometer in the Burgas region. The repair works will be in the lane for Sofia, and traffic in the active lane will be restricted, while traffic will pass through the overtaking lane.

The Road Infrastructure Agency ("API") calls on all drivers to be careful, to follow traffic rules and not to undertake risky overtaking maneuvers that endanger the safety of all other road users.
