In the conditions of investigative detention, where time seems to flow at its own, slow rhythm, the Anti-Corruption Commission has taken a decisive step. Lawyer Ina Lulcheva, defender of the mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, announced to BTA that the final charges in the case have been brought. The investigation, which was announced to be concluded, has moved to its next phase.

It is expected that on Friday the defense will have the opportunity to familiarize itself with all the materials in the case. This is a key moment, providing an opportunity for a detailed review of the evidence and for the preparation of a defense strategy. Lawyer Lulcheva noted that the issue of the imminent filing of an indictment in court is beyond her competence, clarifying that an answer to this question should be given by the prosecution.

Meanwhile, according to lawyer Dilyana Agova, today the charges against municipal councilors Nikolay Stefanov and Yordan Kateliev were clarified. This shows that the investigation continues to develop, with the focus remaining on key figures from the local authorities.

Despite the importance of these events, the prosecution still has no official information about the actions taken against the accused. The lack of official comment leaves room for speculation and further emphasizes the need for transparency in the process.
