The competition will take place in four rounds, including theoretical tests, a quiz with questions, tasks for recognizing road signs, as well as practical exercises related to providing first pre-medical aid in a traffic accident. All tests and tasks are adapted to the age of the students and are developed on the basis of the curriculum for 5th, 6th and 7th grade.
The main goal of the initiative is to increase students' knowledge of traffic rules, to build a responsible attitude towards safety and to encourage the formation of practical skills for correct behavior in various road situations.
The municipal round of the National Quiz “Let's Protect Children on the Road” is held annually and is an important part of the efforts of the institutions in Burgas to prevent traffic accidents and to educate responsible and active young participants in traffic. The team that collects the largest number of points will be ranked first and will represent the municipality of Burgas in the next stage of the national competition.
The event brings together students, teachers and institutions around one common cause – protecting the lives and health of children on the road and building a culture of safety from an early age.
