Nesebar Municipal Council Held a Meeting: Decisions Adopted on Infrastructure, Tourism, and Municipal Property

Nesebar Municipal Council reviewed 40 reports, including decisions on traffic management, tourism, municipal property, and administrative changes. Decisions were adopted regarding the investments of "V&K-Burgas", as well as a Program for Sustainable Tourism Development. The only proposal for establishing the right to use municipal property was not accepted.

The Municipal Council - Nessebar held its regular meeting, considering a total of 40 reports. The meeting began with the addition of an extra item to the agenda.

The first report, submitted by Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov, concerned the organization and safety of traffic and the designation of parking spaces for the summer season of 2026. The proposal was approved with 19 votes "for". The councilors also supported the report of the Local Commission for Combating Anti-Social Behavior of Minors and Juveniles, presented by Viktor Borisov (20 votes "for").

The addition to the composition of the audit committee was approved, as well as a report by the mayor on changes in the structure of the municipal administration related to Ordinance No. 3 and the need for better organization (increasing the administration by half a staff position, increasing the "Municipal Property" department, and creating the "Sports Bases" activity under the Obzor mayoralty).

The councilors approved the investments of "Water Supply and Sewerage" EAD - Burgas for 2025, as well as a decision for additional remuneration for the mayors of the populated areas, and a one-time indexation of their salaries by 5%. The "Sustainable Tourism Development Program in Nessebar Municipality for the period 2026 - 2035" (16 votes "for", 5 abstentions), as well as the implementation of the activities under the "Personal Assistance" mechanism, were also approved.

The only rejected item was the proposal of "APK Komuna" EOOD for the establishment of a right of use of municipal property in the Baira area.

The councilors approved reports related to the management and disposal of municipal property: establishment of a building right, renting of municipal properties (offices, pavilions), a doctor's office, commercial properties and agricultural properties. A report on the implementation of the municipal programs for environmental protection was also reviewed (20 votes "for").

A large part of the items on the agenda were related to urban plans and infrastructure projects - power supply, cable lines, including in Sunny Beach, Kosharitsa, Ravda and Tankovo.
